computer wont load completely

my computer wont load completely, after seeing the loading your personal
settings screen it will only load my wallpaper and i can see and move the
mouse but i cannot see the desktop icons and taskbar. even if i press
right-click on the mouse nothings happening. i even tried pressing
clrt+alt+del , it still wont do anything not even restart my computer so i
have to force shut down by pressing the power button on my tower..

I have exactly the same problem even though the PC has never misbehaved in

Can you load up the Admin account to see if it loads properly?

If you have the Pro version, and you're using the welcome screen, simply hit CTR+ALT+DEL twice to get a name entry box, and type 'administrator' (no quotes). If you didn't setup a password for that account, just hitting OK will get you in.

If you're using the Home Edition, then you'll need to boot into Safe Mode to get into the Admin account.
