Computer will not shut down after shutdown routine

Computer goes through a shutdown or hibernate routine/, and then turns itself
right back on. I have already GoBacked and System Restored the system as far
back as those programs will go. Any advice?

Two suggestions...

Quit using hibernate. It is of little value to you. It will reclaim
the space it uses.

Powering back on is either:

1. Hardware problem with the switch or it/s connection to the
motherboard, or

2. "Shutdown" actually did a "restart". That could be worm or trojan.
My bet is a trojan that wants to make sure you are always running.
