Computer wants to dial out

When my notebook is connected to the LAN and I try to access a dead
link the dial out box pops up. Can I make it not ask to dial up when I
am already connected to the internet?
 
Hi,

Control Panel/Internet Options/Connections tab, enable "never dial a
connection".
