Computer takes 10 minutes to log on

I think it could be the behaviour exposed in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 329457 but I've not been
able to contact Microsoft to get the fix. If you can I
would appreciate if you send me the file (Userenv.dll).

Does your domain use a complex set of group policies?
(They don't by default).

If so, follow the article's directions to contact
Microsoft, that's the only way to get the file.

If your domain doesn't use a complex set of group
policies, that article has nothing to do with your
problem, and the networking settings are what I would be
looking at first.

You should also check the event log for errors around the
boot-up time.
