COMPUTER STOPS RESPONDING

MY PC STOPS RESPONDING WHEN I TRY TO DISCONECT FROM THE INTERNET.
THE ONLY OPTION IS TO CLOSE DOWN THE PC WITH THE ON/OFF BUTTON AND START
AGAIN.
PRIOR TO THIS PROBLEM EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE.
HELP.

Please turn your Caps Lock off. Have a look in the Event Viewer for any
'Errors'. If any are found could please post the Event ID and Source? With
those it may be possible to narrow down the cause of your problem.
