Computer Shuts Down w/o Any Warning

Hi,

For the past few weeks, my computer has been shutting
down by itself without any warning. It just turns off by
itself. This has occurred in many instances and various
times when doing something from importing music to
recovering files using PARs. What seems to be the
problem? Please help.

2.6 Ghz
40 Gigs, 1 Gig free space
256 MB

could be a lot of things. are all the fans running? could
be over heating. could be a bad ram module. could be your
graphics card either going bad or over heating.
you just have to eliminate one thing at a time.
