go start/right click - my computer/properties/
go - advanced tab/startup and recovery section/
go - settings/system failure section/
go - deselect - automatically restart/
go ok/
go apply/
and take it fr there
I've had this same problem. I had to feformat & reinstall
XP pro & 98 then upgrade, and finally it stopped. It
still does it if I try to defrag my C: drive. 98 works,
but not the XP.
I did this,and now I'm getting the blue screen of death!!!
I have 2 options now, remove XP on the WD hard drive,
install XP on Maxtor drive & se WD as slave, or just
reinstall 98 on the WD and deal w/it.
