Computer shuts down on start up.

Hi,
I am having a problem with my computer.

All of a sudden, it is having problems turning on.
It will start booting into windows and then shut off.
Sometimes it gets farther along into the bootup then others.
And once it actually got into windows itself, and I used t for a while
but then i shut down, and not it gives me the same problem again.

I rcently discounected a HD, but I dont think any other wires got
jarred loose. (and if they did, how come I actaully got in once).
I also checked to make sure all the fans were working properly.
