Computer screen stops

I keep getting this problem.
My screen stops responding.

Mouse stop and I cannot do anything.

I have to turn the computer off and on again

What could be causing this.
 
Whoa! there is a whole load of problems there!
Check you leads and cables from your PC to mointor.
Did you make any recent changes to your BIOS/Graphics card?
When does your screen power down? (can you revert back to previos good
settings F5 or shift F8?)

Run anti-spyware and anti-virus programs. Delete all Internet cache
files and all windows temp/tmp files.
