You realize your computer has been hijacked and is running remote
control software?

You need to get that thing offline and cleaned up using the latest in
anti trojan and anti spyware software....

Do you require more details?

Security holes in Internet Explorer and Windows, but also if you click "No"
in a pop-up ad. Once one of them gets in, you get bombarded.

RID OF IT?

First, you need to disconnect the Internet and save your data somewhere
else, besides your local hard drive. The reason for this is that some
malware infestations cannot be cured without super-human effort. You clean
up the drive, go online, and the process starts all over again because one
bug didn't get removed.

In many cases the best approach is to save all your data, then re-partition
and format the hard drive. Re-load your applications, then copy the daata
back. Sounds awful, and it is, but fixing a serious infestation can be far
more work than just starting over.
