During use and also during screen saver my computer quite often restarts
itself, can't seem to eliminate problem, can anyone help me???? I am using
windows xp

Hi

If you don't see any error messages with the shutdown/restart, right click
on My Computer, select Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on
Settings under Startup and Recovery and disable 'Automatically restart'.
Next time your PC reboots, you should see a Blue Screen. Could you please
post the Stop Code from the BSOD?

Also, please have a look in the Event Viewer to see if any entries there may
refer to the problem.

Thanks, but I have already disbled the auto restart, I haven't seen a
stop code,in the event of a problem in the event viewer how do I
resolve it? How do I get to the event viewer, done it once before but
don't remember.
Thanx, Monty

I am having the same problem myself. To get to the event viewer go to the
control panel/ administrative tools / computer management and the event
viewer is in the left toolbar
