Computer powers up on its own

A co-worker and I asked for your help a couple weeks ago
on a power-off issue we were having on my personal unit -
the computer would go through shut down but would not turn
off. You all responded that we might try enabling
APM 'Advanced Power Management' option - it seemed to
work. Only now my computer powers up in the middle of the
night - but not every night. Any suggestions other than
unplugging the power cord so it can't come on? Thanks,

check the bios for setting like 'wake on lan' or 'wake on ring' or other
'wake on' type of things that would be turning it on based on other inputs.
