I am the only user of my computer and decided not to use a password to logon
when I turn it on. Now I need to publish a Web site on a Web server. Trying
to use ftp to upload my site it keeps asking me for the password of my
computer, and does not accept a null (immediate enter). How can I fix this?
Thank you in advance for the help.

It's not asking you for the password to your computer. It's asking you
for the password to the website. Without a password, anyone could upload
files to your web server and do Horrible Things.

Contact the person who is providing you the space on their web server to
find out what username and password you should enter.

That's pretty simple, use a password for your account! If it bugs you
having to enter it when you logon to your computer you can enable the
Auto Logon feature.
