computer lock

After a period of time, desktop incons diappear and
passord window comes up stating the following: "The
computer is in use and has been locked..." There is no
screensaver and I can not find any a cause for this. I
would like to know how to stop this from happening. So
far I have checked for screensaver and poer management
and all are turned off.

Sound like a virus running in the scr saver !!
