Hey guys...HELP!!!!

My computer kept rebooting...continuously...wouldn't even let me get
into safe mode, without rebooting.

So, decided to wipe out and reformat harddrive...did it..then tried to
reinstall windows....now it gets to like 61% and tell me it can't copy
the rest of the files!!! how do I fix this? is it my hard drive? a
virus? what's the solution? I've tried running chkdsk is says it's all
ok, it's reformats no problem...my disk is fine, I tried it on another
comp.

HELP!!

Try reformating using a 98 boot disk. Erase all partitions and create a
new Primary DOS Partition. Then, reinstall XP on that partition. If
that doesn't work - Throw your tower in the bloody lake!

I have one disk that appears to be OK, and yet if I try to do a full
format or install Windows on it, it fails. Just depends on which parts
of the disk are accessed and how. So, your disk may NOT be in as good a
shape as it looks. You could also have a RAM problem, and there are
tools around to help you check this. And finally, if your computer is
doing any beeping while it is cycling through the reboots, it would
indicate some hardware problem, or possibly an excessive temperature
due to inadequate ventilation, broken fan, etc.
