Computer keppes turning itself on

My computer automatically turns itself on at 2am every morning, is there some
kind of setting that allows me to set a wake up timer of some kind? Can
anyone help me please?

Check your BIOS settings (Power management) and check in Windows power
management. Could be a program waking up the computer. If thats the case
stop it from running.

yeh, good idea. alternatively, you can plug your pc into a power managment
console and simply shut off the electricity when your pc is not in use. You
seen them, you can plug your monitor, printers, modems and shut them down
with lighted switches... if the pc still turns on then maybe ITS BECOMING
ALIVE>>>>>.
