Computer keeps restarting !

you might 'deselect - automatic restart' if on
go start/right click - my computer/properties/
go advanced - tab/
go startup and recovery - section/settings/
go system failure - section/
deselect - automatically restart/if already on/
go ok/
go apply/
and take it fr there

I think its more of a Wake-On-LAN or Wake-On-Modem kind
of problem. Graham/Karen...is your computer connected to
any sort of modem or LAN network? If it is...and you have
WOL and WOM activated, you will find your computer
starting by itself if someone calls or when someone tries
to access your computer through the network. You can
deactivate this through your system's bios by pressing
the 'DEL" key (for me) but you will have to find out
yours through the computer's manual.

Also most new bios settings allow automatic restart of the
computor at a given time and date or daily as such in a
bussiness envirorment. You might also have to disable that
as well in bios.
