computer is locked

AFTER THE COMPUTER IS IDLE FOR A WHILE, WE HAVE TO PROVIDE
OUR PASSWORD BECAUSE IT SAYS THE COMPUTER IS LOCKED.
PRESSING CONTROL/ALT/DELETE AND CHOOSING UNLOCK DOES NOT
WORK. ALSO THE PRINTER DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE
COMPUTER AFTER IT IS IDLE FOR A WHILE.
CANNOT GET HELP FROM GATEWAY FOR SOME REASON. PLEASE
RESPOND.

Check the screensaver setting to see if it is password protected. If so
then you may wish to adjust the setting there. Start -> control panel ->
display. As for the printe, it may be ging into a powersave mode. How
long is it idle when these issues happen?
