My computer keeps on crashing whenever i play video. I think it is
something to do with the ram.

I can play one video without it crashing, but half wayu through the
next one it will just crash. Its like the memory is just filling up
like a jug and is forgetting to empty itself. Does anyone know how i
can fix this?

I bought some new ram (kingston 2x1GB) and that doesn't solve the
problem, it only appears to mak the problem less frequent.

so many possibilities. Try memtest86. Try crashdoctor.

You may be running into a heat related problem if different memory did not
change the symptoms.

Some video cards run quite a bit hotter when trying to process a real time
video stream. Check to see if your video card has it's own fan and if so
it's condition. As a test you could open the case and aim an external fan
at the computer/video card and see if the problem still occurs with the
increased air flow.
