computer freezing

Hello. Recently my computer has been freezing, and I have to restart my
computer because ctrl-alt-delete merits no response. Does anyone know what
might be causing this? I ran a virus & ad-aware scan and nothing helped.

Please help!

Look in the Event Viewer for clues for your freezing problem. JJ
