computer freezing when CPU usage is filled.

I have a computer that freezes up on me about once a day. It is really
annoying. I need help from anyone that might be able to help me troubleshoot
the issue.

It usually freezes when I have a flash stick or pda hooked up to the USB
port. It also happens when I watch DVD's or when I try to burn or rip a cd.

have 'almost' the same symptoms with my PC... anyone out there with any help
please....
