computer freezing and slow - SahAgent.exe

I have a new computer its a sony vio running Xp Home. It
has been running fairly slow lately and i am always
getting an error message saying SahAgent.exe has
encountered a problem and needs to close. I find it takes
a long time for my IE page to open for the first time and
periodically other programs i am working in just freeze
up for a few minutes and than this error comes up once
they are working again. I searched and found two hits on
this sahagent.exe in my system but i don't know what it
is so i didn't know if i should delete it. Please Help Me!

Google search shows that to be a ShopAtHome related piece of spyware. I
suggest running AdAware from http://www.lavasoft.de/, or Spybot S & D from
http://spybot.safer-networking.de/. It won't hurt to run them both. They are
free and you will be surprised what they may discover on your
system.Remember to get the latest updates (easy to find mouse clicks!) It
may take a couple runs to get everything. Also, one program may find the
saved (archived for possible future restoral on your part) files of the
other spyware killer.

IMPORTANT: Be aware that some services or software requires spyware-type
software for you to use, and deleting the spyware will most likely cause the
service/software to stop working.

A lot of spyware causes problems just like you are experiencing.
