Computer freezes

Hi,I need help.My computer freezes,all the time.I can read email,an
send email,but if I try to go on the web,sometimes it freezes righ
away and sometimes I can get so far then it freezes again.Program i
not respnding.I can't even do a system restore because the compute
freezes and won't let me .I have been told,I must have a virus,and
need to whipe out everything and do a system recovery.I don't know ho
to do that.i have all of my disks,from when I bought the computer .
put them in but nothing happens.I have no clue as to what is wrong o
how to fix it .I don't know that much about computers.so i need step b
step instructions,people give me tips,but they tell me things,that
have no idea what they are talking abou

So here is the best advice...........
Take your computer to a local computer repair shop with all of the
installation disks it came with.
Tell them the exact problem........Tell them to do Virus/Malware checks and
removal.
Tell them to Defrag your HD. Tell them what you wish to Keep on your system
and have them Uninstall everything else.
If the system is still slow at that point .........ask them
why.............maybe not enough RAM....maybe HD full.
OR
If you dont mind losing what you have on your system.........doesn't sound
like you back things up.
Have them wipe/format the HD and install everything from those installation
disks
