Drivers are pieces of software code that make hardware work.......it takes
Sound drivers for you soundcard to function.
Is that what you wish to back up???
If so they are scattered literally all over various directories and folders
in your system...you would need to back up the entire system...........which
you should be doing anyways
OR....you can use the net to search for the specific drivers for the
hardware that you possess and download them to a specific folder on your
hard drive and then back that folder up to a CD/DVD
XP comes with a backup program......its listed under Accessories/System
Tools....unless you have not installed it from the CD or you have one of
those OEM installed system where they felt no need to give you all of the XP
parts.
