After installing SP2 on my notebook which runs an XP Home Edition, it goes
to stanby, but when I want to restore it, it doesn't come up. Actually the
notebook's fans start working, and the HDD light comes up, but no display.
The keyboard seems to be locked or frozen. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.
Click on the + next to Keyboards, then right-click on your Keyboard
device, select Properties > Power Management and place a check
next to "Allow this device to bring the computer out of Standby",
then click OK. Do the same for your Mouse device.

Thanks Carey,

But there is no Power Management tab in my Keyboard or Mouse properties.
There is only General, Driver, Details, and Resources...
