Computer does not swith off

When i click on close down or restart, my computer does
not shut down completely, the drives switch of but the
light on the front is still on, also the monitor is still
on, and i have to swith off at the mains to get it to
close down.This has just started doing this i was thinking
maybe a relay problem or i have switched something off ??

You may have a virus that entered through an open port.
Go to System Restore and select the last known good
configuration. Run a full virus scan. Then go to Gibson
Research and download some of their freeware to block all
ports not in use.

Did your problem by any chance follow a Windows Update? In any case, take a
