When sending an e-mail, if the computer you are sending to has "crashed",
will the e-mail stay on the e-mail server, whichever e-mail program the
intended receiver is using,or will it be returned as "undeliverable"???
Thanks for any info. . .

The answer to your question is that it depends on:

1. Whether the recipient uses an email client that downloads messages to his
computer (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.) or if the recipient
reads email on line;

2. If the recipient uses an email client but has it set to leave messages on
the server until a particular time period has elapsed or manually deleted;

3. If the recipient uses an email client that downloads messages, doesn't
leave messages on the server, but he didn't download your message yet.

4. If the recipient reads his mail online and has already read your message
and deleted it from the server.

The message will not be returned to you as undeliverable unless the
recipient's mailbox is too full to accept more mail or you've sent it to
the wrong address because this message comes from the email server, not the
recipient's computer itself.

I hope that helped. If you need more information, please post back with more
details about the situation.
