Computer crashes upon deleting a e-mail message.

I have 4 computers that crash, completly shut down when any message is
deleted in the in box on outlook.

Does it happen if you hold Shift while pressing Delete (i.e., permanently
delete instead of move to Deleted Items)?
 
Brian,

It happens during normal operation, no extra keys, one message at a time,
highlight the message being deleted & click the delete button.
