Computer crash whenever I play a video file

This is the error message im recieving but i dont understand the problem and
how to solve it Im running a intel 865I chipset w a 3.4Ghz P4 processor and
3gig of ram yet the crash tells me the error is memory management plz someone
help me.

Run the memory diagnostic tool. Click the Start Orb... type "memory" in the
search box. The Memory Diagnostic Tool should be at the top of the Start
window. Click on it. Run the test.

Another thing you can try is reseating the RAM chips... remove them, reseat
them.

Another thing you can try is pulling one RAM chip at a time. Don't know if
you have 3 1GB's sticks. If so, pull one, and see how Vista works with the
other two. If ur still having problems, pull another stick. If you're still
having problems, pull the last stick and put in one of the other sticks.
Still having problems? Pull that stick and put in the other of the first two
sticks pulled. Still having problems? Ah... no clue.

Well Lang none of your suggestions worked sad to say, I've since updated the
BIO's hoping this would solve the problem but it also hasn't the only thing i
can think of is that its somehoe stuck in a overclocked mode and cannot be
reset because my old abit uguru utilites no longer work with vista, thx for
your advice anyother sugestions.
