I don't know if this will be helpful at all, but the only time that I
have seen blue screens in Vista is when I tried to install a webcam's
software and driver under compatibility mode for XP compatibility.
Every time I tried to run the program, I got the blue screen. No
problem since removing it.

I get the same message and would appreciate any help also, tech from hp wants
me to do a full recovery, only about 2 days work loading back my software.

After 3 hours on support with hp, I ask why 4 gigs of memory were only
registering 3198, they finally found that the motherboard only recommends 3
gigs, seems to be running fine now. hope this helps you
