JACKAL 7

I am running Windows XP home edition. When I try to boot
up my computer it goes through the first 30 seconds than
it just shuts down. The Power supply seems to be working
fine. Is this a virus that I could have gotten? I can't
even get into the bios at startup. I got the promt one
time to run in safe mode and I chose that and then it
shutdown again.

Trying pressing F8 and boot into Safe Mode and see what happens. It if is
sucessful, then I suspect a 3rd party driver.
