computer account password

As we know the computer account password on W2k/XP
changes every 30 days. Does this password
change/synchronizatio occur if the computer logins to the
network via dial-up?
 
As long as it is a member of the domain and is able to connect to it, it
shouldn't make a difference in how it actually connects and talks to a dc.
