It would help if you say what game it is and give some info on the
computer's specs. Then maybe someone who has had experience with this
game can give you some advice. Also have you checked the game
manufacturer's web site for patches or info? Is your system clean of
malware?

OKay, the game is Sims Golf and yes I have checked the website and tried all
there answers. NO luck - what is malware ( is this spyware - if so, yes) If
not, what do I have to do?

You still have not told us anything about your computer so we can't give
you focused help. Here is a link that will show you what details need
to be included in your next post:

Here is a link that will explain about malware and how to remove it:

In the meantime, if all other programs work well and you only have
trouble with Sims Golf, check the system requirements of the game.
Recent Sims games have pretty hefty hardware requirements and are also
fussy about installation order. Contact the game's tech support for
help with their game.

Malware is a general term that applies to viruses, adware, spyware, etc.
