Compuer restarts

I really needs my computer to take care of my family and stuff but i do play
world of warcraft now thnakginvg i palyed and and planned on playing it later
when i go to play it it restarts the comp as i was about to get into the
game. my comp started slowing down i deleted a few program that wernt needed
and comp runs alot better but still a bit slow i get these error messages
bccode 1000008e that is only one i am getting I have run spy ware virus scans
i reinstaled the game DL windows updates and ddrivers incase it was them but
nothing seems to be wroking and i am worried it is gunan start effecting rest
of my computer which i need. can any one please tell me what is going on and
how to fix it in simple terms

Can you give the exact error?
0x1000008e is a little broad.

Anything in the event log?

When you updated the drivers - you did visit each manufacturer's web page in
order to get the latest - correct? Not Microsoft's web page/automatic
updates...

Have you ran any memory diagnostic tools?
