I need to be able to scan court documents into TIFF
format and then compress the document by CCITT Group 3
compression in order to be able to import the file into
Ontario's electronic registration system.
I have many scanning software programs but the only one I
can find that gives me the compression option is Adobe
Acrobat Writer.
The problem is that once I convert my TIFF document into
PDF, compress it and save again as a TIFF file, I lose
the required compression.
Does anyone know how to compress a TIFF file via CCITT
Group 3 compression and retain both the TIFF format and
the compression?
