Compressed Folders

I've made a compressed folder and added some files to the folder which
happen to be pictures. I have 5 pictures in the file and the file size says
it is 5.5 megs. Is this the compressed size? This is the size I see when I
look at the properties of the compressed file. If this is the compressed
file size then it the pictures haven't been compressed very much. Maybe
this happens with pictures? Maybe they can't be compressed very much?

Unless you are using an uncompressed image format it will not be compressed
much. It's already been compressed in image formats like JPEGs. Once it's
compressed you cant compress it more.
