Compressed email folders how do reinstate

SOmeone changed the settings on my computer and now my computer is
compressing emails everyday 5 days. It compressed all of my email folders in
Outlook Express - I am using Windows XP. I can see where the folders have
been saved to. How do I open these folders and view the emails in the
folders?

I have tried opening the file with Outlook Express but it does not do
anything.

I don't know the answer to your question but you might find help at
http://www.insideOE.com -- or at the very least if you go to that site you
will find links to Outlook Express newsgroups. This newsgroup is for Outlook
from the Office suite of programs, and despite the similar name, Outlook and
OE are very different programs.
