Urgent Help needed Lost emails

Hi...In outlook express I have all of my email sorted in seperate folders. I
opened one of my folders to access the emails and it was empty. All of the
other folders are full, but this one is not. Any ideas where all my emails
went to? If they were compressed, can I uncompress them? And why would it
just affect one folder?
