Comprehensive Patch Listing

I doubt the answer to this will be "yes," but is anyone aware of a listing of
all the various XP hotfixes, service packs, and whatnot, indicating
dependencies, and leaving out superceded patches? It would be nice if MS
would do such a thing, but if they have, neither I nor any of my IS buddies
have ever been able to find it.

I'd like the info so I can go download just what's necessary, and no dross,
then slipstream it.

You do know that the "list" is not simple as it depends
on what is installed and what versions. For XP this is
much more simple than for W2k as XP at SP1 must be
at IE SP1, but even still WMP, WMessenger, etc vary.
Due to the dependencies, the closest approach is to read
the XP indicated parts of the XML file used by MBSA.
