Component Designer "Prototype" problem

Hello... I am having a problem selecting a "Prototype" for newly designed
components. When I click the "Browse..." button in component properties a
dialog box flashes very quickly then disappears. I cannot select a prototype
for any new components.
 
The problem appears to have been related to using MS SQL server 2005. I
switched to MSDE and everything is working as expected.
