complex rules question re: forwarding messages.

here's what I'd like to be able to to.

When a message arrives from a specific person:

1. auto forward it to another email address.
2. auto delete it from the server so that it cannot be downloaded by
another computer (like my office computer)
3. no trace of the message left on originally downloading computer
(Outlook folders)

Now, I know how to set up steps 1 and 2 - but what happens is that the
forwarded message is deleted but, of course, it now appears in my "Deleted
Folder" and the forwarded message also appears in my "Sent Folder" (which I
think I can fix by unchecking "save a copy of forwared messages"

So - the big question is there anyway to have the message auto deleted from
my "Deleted Folder", or better yet, never get there in the first place?

I am sorry I can not help with #2 & 3, however, I need to know how to do #1.

Use the "permanently delete it" action instead of the "delete it" action.
For Outlook 2003, those actions are listed sequentially.

thnaks - when I check it - it automatically checkes "stop processing
rules" - and it can't be unchecked - I wonder if that has any significance?
So far I'm running just the one rule so it's moot. And, I wonder why it
forces "stop processing rules"?

I'm running OL2003 and it's the same for OL2000 - use the rules wizard
(Tools/Rules and Alerts) and it leads you through rules step-by-step. One
of the actions is "forward it to people or distribution list" - that's the
one you want - it's really quite simple with the wizard.
