Completely format harddisk

Alan

I had Win2K and 98 dual boot before and then format the harddisk using FDisk
after boot from Win98 boot disk.
However, for some reason, it seems cannot erase all files include boot.ini .

Now I got Win2K Prof and Red Hat Linux dual boot but I want to redo the
installation by formating the harddisk.
Any way to totally and competely format the harddisk and remove every thing
from the hard disk ?

Boot the machine with your Win2000 CD, pretend to do an installation,
then allow the disk to be repartitioned and formatted when prompted.
