I've recently uninstalled Wild Tangent, a game package,
which also contained a number of other programs. I've
noticed that "Wild Tangent Control Panel" shows up
on "Control Panel" I've done a search for any file with
wild tangent in the name and have been able to delete
everything but this item. Any suggestions? Since I
believe this program is associated with adware and
other "spy ware" I'd really like to get rid of it.

Hi,

Search for *.cpl in the \Windows\System32 directory. Double-click each
result until you find the WT one, then delete that one.

Are you familiar with the registry? Start / Run / regedit .. look for files/folders that contain the word Tangent .. and delete them. Warning: Be careful when editing the registry .. you could render your pc helpless, if you delete the wrong thing(s). Good luck.

Download "SpyBot" and let it remove all Wild Tangent elements from your system.
