Complete System Recovery

J

John Gudgin

I am using Windows XP Home edition.
I want to completely erase hard disk and I am sure that there was a button I
could press during start-up that gave me a menu to do a complete recovery,
erasing everything except Windows XP.
Unfortunately, I can't remember how to access this.

If anyone out there knows what I'm on about, and knows how I get to this
option, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks,
John.

You boot from the XP CD and then you do the things you mentioned. To boot
from the CD you will have to change the boot order in the BIOS.

Depends on the make of computer. I have an HP and I have to hit F10 to
do a recovery.
