Compatibilty

I am trying to instal Windows 2000 to replace 98. To check for Bios compatibility I am asked to enter my computer's manufacturer. When I enter Intel and the model number of the Mother Board (D850MV) I get a "no show" answer. I have the Bios number but don't know wher to enter it. Please help.
