Comparison of databased

This is actually before "getting started": Can somebody
explain the differences between Access and some other
database products, in particular, dBase and SPSS?
 
Well, you try looking at the product feature web pages that the manufactures
give on their own products. A web search sould also yield many database
comparison sites. That said, both Access and Visual dBase are relational
databases with development environments built-in. SPSS is a spreadsheet like
statistical tool that is generally used to analyse data from other
databases.
