Compacting an Access 97 Db

I've created a DB in XP and coverted it down to 97; XP allows for the option
to compact on close and 97 doesn't. Does anyone know how to achieve this via
code or any other method? My DB "fires off" a lot of queries, thus leaving
it fragmented. I can't have my users manually compacting it.

In addition to Sco's advice to look at Michka's TSI SOON utility, when you
say it fires off a lot of queries, do you mean you're creating temporary
tables? If so, take a look at what Tony Toews has about using temporary MDBs
with your application at http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/temptables.htm
