compacted email and folder

Is there any way to recover compacted folder and email on Outlook Express 2.0?
I accidentally click on compact email folder and all my emails in inbox
folder has been deleted or dissappeared. Please help me! How do I recover my
emails?

did the same thing in outlook express 6. Sure wish I hadn't. where
did my emials go and can I get them back? jeez
