Compact Flash-FAT: Disk Error

Hi All,

I have been using ST Microelectronics CF cards(now Numonyx) for past 2 years
to run XP Embedded OS. I am suddenly facing a strange problem on the CF cards
with FAT file system. The machine throws "Disk Error" if tried to boot from
CF card with FAT system. The same card works fine if formatted with NTFS.

Any idea why it is so?
