Compact Files Message

I am running Outlook 2007. When I open up the application, I get a dialog
box with the following message. "Outlook Express can compact the size of your
files."

How do I rid myself of this annoying dialog box and keep it from ever
popping up again? I don't want to compact files and I have plenty of disk
space. Note that I am not even running Outlook Express.

Two possibilities I can think of
a) let it compact its empty data files one time;
b) uninstall Outlook Express

Thanks Pat. I had an older version of Office still installed on my computer.
I just uninstalled that version. I think that will do it. Thanks for your
suggestions.
